My journey into thin film optimization didn’t start in software. It started in a lab, studying Laser- and Optotechnologies.
For years, I watched brilliant designers struggle with agonizingly slow, CPU-bound simulations, their creativity limited by computational walls.
I asked a simple question: Why?
Why isn’t the massive parallel power of the GPU—the engine behind AI and real-time graphics—being unleashed on this critical problem?
That question became a mission.
I am now applying over a decade of expertise in high-performance computing to answer it. My work is dedicated to building GPU-accelerated optimization tools that shatter these traditional constraints. This isn’t about incremental gains. It’s about a fundamental leap: enabling the discovery of radically superior designs that use fewer layers, less material, and a fraction of the time.
My goal is to revolutionize this field—to turn what was once a hours-long process of compromise into a minutes-long process of discovery, saving immense costs and unlocking designs that were previously impossible.
As I believe, this is the future of photonic design, it’s powered by the GPU.

Mission

Empower thin film designers with the computational power of modern GPUs to break traditional constraints, enabling them to build more material-efficient designs, and in a fraction of the time.

Vision

Redefine the standard of what’s possible in thin film design, making the most complex global optimization as routine as a basic simulation is today.
