You must provide at least a material name, a formula for Re(n) and the effective range. If the formula for Im(n) is left unspecified, the material is assumed to be non-absorbing.
Optionally, you can also define thermo-optic properties. This feature is not yet implemented, but adding the data now ensures your material will be ready when support is introduced in FilmOptima.
